Michael & Rachel Sawka
Michael has led youth churches in Derby, U.K., and as a worship leader in the U.K. and Europe; he returned to Sano with his wife Rachel in May 1999 and has served the church ever since. He became a church leader in 2004 and will become Catch the Fire's Asia Regional Leader in 2020.
Rachel was born in Derby, England, the oldest of three children to pastoral parents. She grew up following her father on ministry trips to Africa and other countries, and came to Japan soon after he married. She founded an international school with the vision of raising up the next generation of leaders, and is passionate about raising children who will make an impact in their countries.
